I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving, with lots of pie if you are into that sort of thing. Scott and I had a couple of friends over for a feast and enjoyed preparing our first meal in the new kitchen.
Scott and I attended the International Dog Film Festival at Symphony Space on Saturday night. There were about a dozen short films about all things dog. I enjoyed it and guessed correctly that Scott would love the movie about Tim Triumph, from Alaska, who competed in the Iditorad sled race with a team of "cast-offs".
I now have my new computer and will be launching my New York City Pets blog very soon. I am planning to have much more to say over there about pet issues and will continue writing here about other stuff that not all of NYC really cares about. I'll also be helping Dorian from the Artemis Project with some web stuff to help get those kitties some homes. Dot is still available if anyone is looking for a nice cat.
My XMas tree is out for the season.
We are looking forward to a quick XMas trip to Michigan: three days, one rental car, three-four passengers, many friends and relatives to see. Renting a car from NJ was half the cost of a NYC rental and a quarter of the cost of flying. So roadtrippin we go, with Honey in tow.
